New Parenting Program Commencing

It aims to equip and empower parents with helpful information and skills associated with the challenging but rewarding task of raising children - if interested contact our office to sign up.

Child Witness Counselling Program

This program is specifically designed for children who have witnessed domestic & family violence and are no longer living with the perpetrator.  The Parent/Carer also needs to be receiving counselling themselves either here or elsewhere.  The information session will inform parents of the effects of domestic & family violence on their children, as well as informing the parent about the program offered.  Essentially, there is a three step entry procedure to the program:

  1. Attend the information session (please contact CRDVS for the next scheduled session).
  2.  A confidential interview between the parent and the children's counsellor to assess the suitability of your child/children for the program.
  3. A getting to know you session for your child, with the children's counsellor.

Please call Ph. 5498 9533 to register your attendance and obtain the venue details.  Please do not bring your children to this session if possible as it is for the information of parents.

Counselling Group for Women

The Caboolture Regional Domestic Violence Service offers a 12 week course for women who are in, or have been in abusive relationships.  Sessions are held weekly.  Cost: Gold coin donation.  For a pre group interview or more information on the next scheduled group, please phone 07 5498 9533.

Be a part of the ripple.... that turns the tide!

CRDVS has launched a new campaign to turn the tide on domestic and family violence.  Be a part of the ripple that turns the tide on domestic and family violence by being informed, finding out ways to help someone, talking about domestic violence and helping people to access support if they ask for your help!  Browse the pages of this site for further information, or give us a call to talk it over with a specialised worker.
